Chef Chad Rahman’s culinary career truly began to flourish after completing his Hotel Restaurant Management degree at the world famous Conrad Hilton Hotel School.  He worked in a variety of highly prestigious hospitality outlets ranging from hotels to restaurants such as the 5 Star Hyatt Regency Hotel and Four Seasons Hotel, Houston, Texas and The Hilton Hotel Group.  Absorbing nuances and specialities of ethnic cuisine, particularly French, Indian, Malaysian, Thai and Mexican.

Chef Chad Rahman’s cuisine is unique, based on the Asian philosophy of natural seasonal flavours, enhanced by augmented classic techniques of European cuisine.  This coupled with his Asian background sets the tone for Chez Mumtaj’s Modern Asian cuisine accented with ingredients and spices from around the world.

Chad Rahman is one of the UKs most innovative and dynamic chefs today, specialising in South Eastern Asian cuisine.  Chad’s eclectic style of cooking draws from Indo-French and Panasian nuances.  Chad has made an outstanding contribution to the Asian food industry for his culinary excellence and has proven his ability by entering numerous chef competitions on a local, regional, national and international level.
